Membership Categories

Organizational Member

Includes two professional individual memberships. If you are an employee of a company/organization for which you have risk responsibilities, you and a colleague (also an employee with risk responsibilities) are eligible for professional individual memberships at the organizational level. Memberships belong to the organization, not the individuals.

Individual Memberships and Young Professional Memberships (under age 26) are also available. See the national RIMS site for details

National Associate Member

If you are employed by a company/organization that provides products or services to those in the risk management profession (e.g., broker, underwriter, consultant, attorney, accountant, actuary, or outsourced risk manager), you are eligible for Associate Membership.

Associates have all the privileges of membership, but may not serve as voting members of boards or committees. The membership belongs to you, not to your company/employer.

CHAPTER ONLY Individual Member (vendors only)

An Individual Chapter Only Vendor Membership is for non-risk manager professionals. It provides one (1) membership to the Nevada Chapter of RIMS and provides the following benefits to the listed individual Member:

  • Complimentary Chapter meetings/luncheons and annual holiday celebration

  • Membership card indicating local RIMS membership affiliation

  • Chapter membership certificate suitable for framing

  • Ability to lead or serve on Chapter Event Committees
